BUILT FROM THE CONCRETE UP
A beautiful floor doesn't happen by simply applying a coating. It starts with the right foundation and careful attention to every step that follows. From the initial surface preparation to the final topcoat, we take the time to do each part of the process right so your finished floor looks great and performs the way it should.
OUR STEPS
We mechanically grind the concrete using specialized equipment to remove surface contaminants and create the proper surface profile for the coating to bond to the substrate.
Without meticulous mechanical grinding, the coating may not have the surface profile it needs to form a strong bond with the concrete. That can lead to peeling, delamination, and premature coating failure.
This is one of the first places shortcuts can compromise an entire floor, which is why we take this step seriously.
01 - PREPARE THE CONCRETE
02 - CLEAN THE SUBSTRATE
After grinding, we thoroughly vacuum the concrete using industrial-grade vacuums equipped with HEPA filtration to remove dust and debris from the surface.
This helps ensure the substrate is clean and free of particles that could interfere with adhesion or become trapped in the coating, creating visible imperfections in the finished floor.
We don't just grind the concrete, we make sure it's clean and ready for the next layer.
We use high-grade, specialized repair materials to address significant cracks, chips, and other imperfections in the concrete before applying the coating system.
These repairs help improve the appearance of the finished floor while addressing imperfections that could otherwise affect the integrity and performance of the coating.

04- APPLY THE BASECOAT
Once the concrete has been prepared, cleaned, and repaired, we apply a premium 95% solids epoxy base coat designed specifically for professional concrete flooring systems.
With approximately 95% of the coating remaining after it cures, this high-solids epoxy creates a substantial, durable foundation for the decorative flake and protective topcoat that follow.
05 - BROADCAST THE FLAKE
While the base coat is still wet, we evenly broadcast decorative flakes across the entire floor. This creates the signature full-flake look while adding texture and helping conceal everyday dirt and minor imperfections.
Careful, consistent distribution ensures a uniform finish from edge to edge.
06 - APPLY THE TOPCOAT
The final layer is a high performance polyaspartic topcoat that seals and protects the finished floor. Polyaspartic coatings provide excellent resistance to everyday wear, abrasion, and many common chemicals while helping protect the floor's color and appearance.
This final layer adds lasting protection to the entire coating system while allowing the floor to return to service relatively quickly. The finish isn't just about how the floor looks. It's about protecting everything underneath it.
